Catherine White Holman Wellness Centre

The Catherine White Holman Wellness Centre is a holistic community health centre serving trans and gender diverse people.

This Centre provides:

  • Drop-in counselling by and for trans and gender diverse people, including immediate counselling support and referral services to other resources.
  • A nurse-led clinic for primary physical and sexual health care.
  • Counselling and legal support through monthly virtual clinics on Skype (one Sunday per month at 4pm-7pm).
  • All virtual clinics are free for trans and gender diverse people, including refugees, undocumented people, and im/migrants. Legal clinic does require showing one current piece of government-issued photo ID.

Qmunity: BC's Queer, Trans, and Two-Spirit Resource Centre

Qmunity is a community health and information centre serving queer, trans, and/or Two-Spirit people. Includes programming for youth and older adults.

  • Languages: English

This Centre provides:

  • Counselling and wellness program: Free and low-/reduced-cost counselling or support groups for queer, trans, and/or Two-Spirit individuals.
    • Counselling program is not for treating severe mental illnesses (focused on overall mental health and wellness). However, Qmunity can provide referral to more appropriate resources during or after intake.
  • Referral services to free STI clinic and legal advice through the Bute Street Clinic (STI clinic) and Access Pro-Bono.
